In this time of sickness – Part 2
Remember that I mention that it doesn’t matter if your purpose in life is large or small?, that is because in reality there is no small purpose in life, because it isn’t easy to steering up the whole universe to change it’s fate.
The universe doesn’t care, it build so many type of environments, but it is the duty of life to adapt and thrive into these harsh environments.
As you are a living being, even if your purpose in life is just merely to survive, that is a huge thing because it requires to have in equilibrium so many variables.
Life is like you being in the middle of the flow of a river, and you are trying to grasp something to hang up. There are a lot of things flowing with you and you have to decide which things you are going to hold on and which things you are going to let go, and sometimes there are more things that you can hold that some of them escape from you.
Do you want to hold on to your health? then you need to invest time in taking care of your nurture, your exercise, your sleep, your hydration and many other things. You need to keep them in balance, nurture yourself just what your body needs, not more and not less, this also applies for everything else. This time invested in your health is time that you couldn’t invest in other things, so you need to prioritize.
Do you want to have a successful career? invest in your personal growth and your profession, but remember not to take time from other more important things like your health or your family, because What is the object of winning the world if you feel sick? or if you don’t have a relative close to you to share it?, so choose wisely and make priorities in life.
That’s only about surviving, but now imagine What if your purpose in life is rooted in the evolution of your spirit? How does anyone survive and have the time to also grow the spirit? it seems impossible, Right?, not really, in fact surviving complements the other one. The way to grow the spirit is by making mistakes and learn from them and the way in life is to have priorities and balances as it was mentioned before, if you didn’t prioritize well, or if you lose balance, you made a mistake, learn from it, be responsible of your actions, make adjustments to not make the same mistake again and you will start to grow your spirit while thriving in life. Sounds easy? in fact it is difficult, but I can assure you that at the end everything bad always brings something good, at least something that you learned and the joy of rising up again, that is the beauty of living.
Now imagine What if your purpose in life is rooted in real love?, not that physical love driven by our hormones, not that attraction love that we feel towards another person, I am talking about the real love, that love that makes you give everything for others without expecting anything, not even gratitude, much less correspondence. If you did something nice for another person and you feel a regret, or a complain, then you didn’t do it by real love, because you are expecting something in return. The universe has its laws, specially the casue-and-effect law that leads to logic, logic leads to knowledge, knowledge leads to wisdom and wisdom leads to this real love.
